Zahara Therapy was formed in March 2020. We aim to be sensitive to the physical, emotional, economic and social wellbeing of our service users at this time. We encourage you to contact us to discuss your unique needs.
Where are services based?:
Zahara's services will be offered in a hybrid model of face to face on Saturday mornings (from our new South London premises) and online (video or audio), telephone. Service delivery will be tailored to your individual requirements and subject to review under Covid-19 guidance.
Are Zahara therapy services confidential?
Yes all services are confidential to you and your therapist. However, at your initial consultation you will be taken step-by-step through our policies and when information about you may need to be shared if there is a risk to self or others.
Risk screening:
All people receiving therapy with Zahara will undertake an assessment of risk - please refer to our new Risk assessment screen
Safeguarding:
Please refer to our safeguarding policy which makes every effort to ensure services minimise risk of harm to vulnerable children or adults, and circuumstances where information shared and/or confidentiality could be breached with or without conset and only as a last resort.
Record-keeping and Data Protection:
Please refer to our GDPR compliant UKCP, SWE record keeping and data protection protocols.
Evaluation & Feedback:
We aim to offer you a high standard of service provison. Whilst we encourage and welcome feedback by phone, e-mail, evaluation forms or via our website, however accept not all of this will be positive.
